A series of paintings that quote the "sky" part of Nobel physicist Hideki Yukawa's words "May peace be throughout heaven (sky) and earth," which are inscribed on the bronze bell of the "Children of the Atomic Bomb" statue in Hiroshima. Symbolizing humanity's desire for "life" and "peace," the origami crane flutters into the sky in the painting.

This work is a counterpart to the "On the earth" series.
